End of term UV Party 2010

Charge up your glow sticks and febreeze that smiley face t-shirt - it's end of term Party time!  We're practicing our moves and throwing some shapes in preparation for a ravetastic UV Party at Mustard. See attached poster for details and get down to the Finace Office to grab a ticket.

Executive Committee Elections...time is running out!

With nominations closing at 5pm this Friday, there is not long left to select your chosen position and gather the signitures required - but there is still time!

Avatar...

Anyone seen it?

A Titanic return to form for James Cameron or a tacky gimic that will look dated by the end of the week? I haven't seen it yet, I'm holding out for the new Ian Dury Biopic 'Sex and Drugs and Rock n' Roll', oh and I still fancy seeing 'The Road', athough it's been billed as the most depressing film of the year. Might wait 'till I'm in a better mood for that one...

Voting and Blogging, Blogging and Voting

Three days, three posts - a dangereous precedent I fear...

A quick update to remind all that voting for the Vice President position closes at 3pm today. It's a perfect opportunity to thaw out those voting muscles and limber up for the forthcoming election fest - there's the CCN mock elections, Executive Commitee election, and a rather tasty looking General Election.

Volume

Two posts in two days, blimey!

Things are moving along nicely here at the SU, and the blogs are an ideal first port of call for the latest updates and news.

Preparations for the next edition of Volume are now underway. Volume is the newsletter from your SU, created by students for students, and we need your input!

Vice President Election

Happy New Year!

The Students' Union are gearing up for an exciting 2010, with events including paintballing, trips to London, and of course the Summer Ball.

The full Executive Commitee election season looms large on the horizon, but in the meantime don't miss the chance to vote in the current Vice President election. Ballot boxes are at reception at both City College Ipswich Road and St Andrews House. The poll closes this Friday, so just 2 days left to make you voice heard!
