Class Representatives
Class Representatives are students that represent the views and concerns of their class peers and also ensure that the quality of the education you receive is exactly what you would expect.
The Class Representative scheme exists to ensure that students have a voice in the academic part of your life at the College. Every student, in every year, on every course in every school is represented by their own Class Representative to ensure that you always have an opportunity to have a say on your education. If you have an academic issue, problem or query, whether it’s about the turnaround of assignments being graded, the number of taught hours you have or the quality of teaching, then speak to your Class Representative. You will have the opportunity to vote for your Class Representative at the start of the course. Get to know them, they could come in useful. Better still why not stand to become a Class Representative yourself?
Becoming a Class Representative is a great opportunity as you get to meet and work with lots of students and academic staff, plus you get the chance to change things for the better. What students need is someone to campaign for them and then inform them on what improvements were made. That could be you.
