Student Governors

City College Norwich is an avid supporter of the student voice. The College is recognised by OFSTED for its good practice in involving students at every level of decision making at the College. The College also financially supports the Union each year by providing the salaries of the sabbatical officers, staff of the Union and also a significant amount of money to enable us to sort out any issues and ensure that your time at the College is packed full of fun.

The President of the Union is also a Student Governor of the College. The President is also joined by two other students who have also been elected as Student Governors: one representing students in Further Education and the other Higher Education. Both of these positions are currently vacant. It’s impressive that on the College’s Governing Body there are three students on the Board, its proof that your voice is heard at the College.
