Student Parliament

Student Parliament is the democratic voice for students at City College Norwich. Through motions to Parliament, students can change the Union, the College and also the wider college society. When Parliament meets and speaks it is the voice of around 16,000 students of the College, it is the students democratic voice at the College.

The voice of Student Parliament is the official voice to which the College listens. The Executive Committee is held to account, and through deciding on policy, hearing reports from Union Officers and agreeing the Union budget, the very direction of the Union itself is decided.

Any student can attend Parliament or submit a motion for Parliament to discuss, but only members of Parliament can vote. If you want to see what goes on, just turn up at a meeting – you can find out dates on the Union section of Blackboard or the Students’ Union website at http://www.ccsu.org.uk
