Who shall be a member of the executive committee and a member of the Trustee Board of the Union, if over the age of 18; shall:

1. in conjunction with the president and deputy president be responsible for dealing with further education students’ concerns, aspirations and problems in relation to their courses
2. liaise with the Further Education Governor on the Colleges Corporation Board, on any matter arising which relate Further Education in the College
3. liaise with the welfare officers on the development of the union’s welfare strategy within the college
4. in conjunction with the vice president welfare and the welfare officers meet with the college for the purposes of monitoring and review of the student charter, complaints, equal opportunities and disciplinary procedures
5. in conjunction with the deputy president maintain contact with course representatives over the year and represent their views and concerns to the college through the academic board and other appropriate forums
6.  be a member of the academic board and any other relevant bodies established by the college
7. present relevant reports to the Executive Committee and give weekly updates to the deputy president
8. carry out other duties as laid down by the Executive Committee and Student Parliament
9. be a member of Student Parliament, and present relevant reports
10.  act reasonably and prudently in all matters, and in the best interests of the Students’ Union
11. Establish a number of projects relatingto the Further Education students’ education, welfare and social needs at the beginningof the year, as agreed by the Executive Committee.
