Get Involved and drive the Student Voice!
 
On the 19th of September begins your first and arguably your best change to Get Involved! We are running our first election of the year to elect all eighteen of our executive officers, with roles ranging from Campaigns and Environment Officer all the way through to our new Vice-President roles, formed to lead and direct the actions of the new SU “Zones”. Each role has a pivotal part to play, and without them we simply would not function.
 
During this time you also learn and hopefully become one of our new School Representatives, a role designed to be the evolution of the class representative, and designed to tackle issues across schools rather than just classrooms. You could also get involved by signing up for area Involvement Groups, the real power-houses behind the work of each executive officer and school rep.
 
If you wish to become a policy-maker for the SU, why not become a Student Parliament Member for your school, thus making sure your Union is doing what your students want us to.
 
All of these roles will have triaing, support guides and support from the Students’ Union. We want to make sure you have a great impact on the students at City College Norwich and enjoy the experience at the same time.
 
Remember, the Students’ Union is there for you, to listen, learn and work for you. Every course you take, every decision that you make helps drive your Union.
